I felt powerless when the war started in Ukraine six months ago. I couldn’t do anything for the people who were forced to flee. I decided to take my camera and go to Warsaw to document what was happening.

I needed to see everything that was happening and see if I could help in any way. I had two feelings, frustration for not being able to help and joy since the Polish people have organized perfectly coordinated aid with restaurants, medical points, shelters, bathrooms, free clothes, kindergartens and many more things for ukrainian refugees in poland.

so my only option was to share with the Ukrainian people in Warsaw, we talked about trivial things and I had the opportunity to document my trip, I hope you like it.

I hope to use my photography to document the world and give a voice to those who don’t have one.

Hace seis meses, cuando se inició la guerra en Ucrania, sentí una profunda sensación de tristesa ante la situación. No podía hacer nada por aquellas personas que sufrían los horrores de la guerra. Así que tomé mi maleta, mi cámara analógica Pentax 67 y un vuelo a Berlín. Luego me dirigí a  berlin alemania para enbarcarme en bus hasta varsovia.

necesitava ver todo lo que estaba pasando y ver si de un modo podia ayudar. tube dos sentimientos, frustracion por no poder ayudar y alegria ya que el pueblo polaco ha organizado ayudas perfectamente coordinadas con restaurantes puntos medicos albergues, banos, ropa gratuita, jardines infantiles y muchas cosas mas,

entonces mi unica opcion fue compartir con el pueblo ukraniano en varsovia, conversamos de cosas tribiales y tube la oportunidad de documentar mi viaje espero les guste.
